Paikin's Song

Then Go Indeed

Then go indeed
Just know this now
There's no coming back
To any us
For once you're gone
Though hurt I'll be
I'll have no other choice
Than to leave you in my past

No doubt Mark
Will cheer to this
Not that you so ever
Encouraged him
'Tis just we know us both
Even if we never spoke of it
That he wants you bad
And always has

Oh Alex
We never not spoke of it
Because never was the need
As his wanting me
Has only ever been
In your own fears

Or would you say
He but married his wife
Much beloved I might
To keep from being alone
Because he could not have me
His most ardent want

Yes indeed I would
He only chose her
After we were together
For far too long
For him to steal you away

That really is absurd
They only met then
So how could they be
Before it was you and me
As for the length
You so described

Unless he met her before
And left it to be
The case of things
When so it wasn't
The case at all

Charles Petrie

Come back tomorrow for part IV of Paikin's Song wherein...well, that would be telling now wouldn't it?

It would also require me knowing just what was next, because I won't know until I sit in front of the screen and type part IV tomorrow, because there isn't a roadmap for this story, it's completely on the fly.
