Paikin's Song

Yet You Remain

Yet you remain
When a hurrying you must do
By your own words
So go damn you go
Before I lash me out
Further than I have
Lest you truly mean
To hurt me worse
By hanging about
When me you no longer want

And Alex but looked at her
Knowing he had said
Though he wanted to stay
He couldn't no longer
Nor could he take her with
For the danger he faced
Was his to face alone

So he shook his head
And wiped a tear away
Before leaving to pack
What little he could take

Thus ready he was to leave
In the ticking of ten
Aided of course
By the fact he'd readied some before

Oh no you aren't but leaving me
With much too much of yours
Like anything
If you really must know
For your leaving is
A hard hard blow

Then do as you will
For what I leave behind
I cannot take with me
And though I dearly wish
You wouldn't just pitch it out
I can see your reasons
For doing that

Charles Petrie

Nope, no real struggles in advancing this story since I moved it over here. And that is a good for this story has a long way to go before it is finished. Especially since I am writing it with no plan in place, I'm just writing it.

What think you?
