That Is Not How
That is not how
I remembered it
From those years before
So forget your plans
As we must us go
And do what needs be done
I care not how it is
In your own memory
For yours is surely faulty
With all the years
You've spent you here
On this backwards world
Oh they are different
Than us for sure
But difference does not mean
Wrong so bad
Just different they are
Fine whatever
As they would say
You'll just have to wait
Or return alone
For I have things to do
That serve the greater good
That too is wrong
As I remember it
As you said we would return
Us two together
Which is only fair
As the years have passed
And I am uncertain
How best alone to go
A pity then for you
Because my task is
Of more import than yours
So wait you here
In your good silence
Or risk you losing yourself
By returning alone
