No Say It Not
No say it not
We were friends
You couldn't have faked it all
You're just being
An ass right now
If that is how
You wish to think
What care I
That you would deny
The truth of things
Just to make yourself
But better feel
Maybe yes
Like how you strive
To make me feel worse
Yes indeed
But it has the good
Of being true
And if it's all the same to you
It's time we fought us now

Paikin's Song
Well Want It I Do
Well want it I do
So no choice have you
My old friend
Tougan about to be
But beaten down
So much for friendship
Maybe I was wrong
To think it was
What I thought
But we all us learn
In the living of life
Yes you were
Quite wrong indeed
As we'd not have been
Friends in life
As normally lived
So you say
But we could have been
Bitter here too
And that we weren't
For many years
It just served me well
To fake it friendly
And believe you me
You were easily fooled
Charles Petrie
Well want it I do
So no choice have you
My old friend
Tougan about to be
But beaten down
So much for friendship
Maybe I was wrong
To think it was
What I thought
But we all us learn
In the living of life
Yes you were
Quite wrong indeed
As we'd not have been
Friends in life
As normally lived
So you say
But we could have been
Bitter here too
And that we weren't

It just served me well
To fake it friendly
And believe you me
You were easily fooled

Paikin's Song
And He But Smiled
And he but smiled
In his reply
Did Sopadin
Cracking his knuckles
And flexing his muscles
Well it's long past time
These they learned
A different way
And weren't no more
The coddled fools
You've let them be
Or here we'll ever stay
What say that
You think we could
Yes escape us this
You are but a greater fool indeed
If that you think
Yes I do
But with your voice
The loudest heard
No not ever
Would this so be the case
So of course you'd think it so
All the more reason
Have I now
To win against you
In this a fight
I want me not at all
Charles Petrie
And he but smiled
In his reply
Did Sopadin
Cracking his knuckles
And flexing his muscles
Well it's long past time
These they learned

So You Really Want It Thus
So you really want it thus
Forget the years
That we have been
As so I thought we were
And fight because
You've thought else
For however long you have
Yes indeed
That's the gist
I'd have you know
But shut it shut it
This but needs
To be but settled
Fist to fist
Which is sure to be
Harder on you
Than it is on me
And the others they scattered
Not wanting to feel
But anything of
The looming fight
That surely was
In Soppadin's favour
Oh scatter yes you fools
I think not much
Of any of you
At all at all
And when we're done
I will be the one
To be the voice
That speaks the loudest
After speaking so
To these good others
What makes you think
They'll but listen
When you've done shown
Your contempt for them
Charles Petrie
So you really want it thus
Forget the years
That we have been
As so I thought we were
And fight because
You've thought else
For however long you have
Yes indeed
That's the gist
I'd have you know
But shut it shut it

Paikin's Song
The Tone Is Not
The tone is not
Nay not simple enough
For you old friend
Well how about this
Look at where we are
There is no room
For the care you would
Yes would wish you for
This nobody dead
Yes I thought that was
The gist of what
You meant to say
Though I wanted it not
To so be the case
We must now
But settle this
I suppose we must
Which is too bad for you
For we both know
I'm the better one
Of the two of us
Be that as it may
This I cannot allow
To go like so
As your uncaring way
Needs but end so now
Then make it end
If so you can
My old friend
But I surely doubt
That you so can
Charles Petrie
The tone is not
Nay not simple enough
For you old friend
Well how about this
Look at where we are
There is no room
For the care you would
Yes would wish you for
This nobody dead
Yes I thought that was
The gist of what

Paikin's Song
Such Words Of Yours
Such words of yours
They be to me
The slapping of my face
And you but know
I take me not
No slappings well
So now I ask of you
To sorry say
And I'll let it drop
For we are friends
And have us been
For years as since
We met us when
I'd do it if I could
For no wish have I
To fight you now
Or ever at all
But no indeed
You have a need
To sorry say yourself
And then as then
This'll be done
And we'll bury him
As so he deserves
No I'll not as do
The making sorry to you
For this is not the when
Of the properly polite
But is instead
A cold prison cold
Or had you forgotten this
Since you so ably adapt
To your wherever
Say what you mean
Dear Sopadin good
For I'm not clear
On what you mean right now
Charles Petrie
Such words of yours
They be to me
The slapping of my face
And you but know
I take me not
No slappings well

Paikin's Song
Take It Back
No say not so
For even the hearing such
Is a crime to my ears
For you know you well
That mad I'm not
So take it back
Well what am I to say
When if he was a spy
And why oh why
Would now they do that
He'd not fall prey
So easily so
To the creepy things
What does it matter
They why of his failure
All that matters is
That he failed he did
To spy on us
Thus we should rejoice
That died he did
Before he caused us harm
It matters yes it does
For your belief
If belief it is indeed
Is in need of proof
As so it is
Without no proof
And the others five
They quietly stood about
Not any a one
Eager to interject
Just quietly awed
That they were seeing
Such a breaking betwixt
These two friends
As so it seemed to them
Charles Petrie
No say not so
For even the hearing such
Is a crime to my ears
For you know you well
That mad I'm not
So take it back
Well what am I to say

Paikin's Song
But Who Does Wrong
But who does wrong
Like the wrong we did
Now but now
When so the many
Like us and more
Have been sent
To places like this
What if he was
Not a doer wrong like us
But merely bad
Or worse than that
A spy to see
Just how we've been
Since oh so long
We've been here
You think this poor dead
Was a spy
What kind of madness
So makes you say that
I'm not mad
And woul but think
You'd never say
Such a thing to me
Well never I thought
That I'd need to say
Such a thing to you
But clearly yes
I need to say this now
Charles Petrie
But who does wrong
Like the wrong we did
Now but now
When so the many

Paikin's Song
He's Dead He Is
He's dead he is
So what matters it
If I cut him deep
Or hang my head
In sadness for
His awful passing
It matters to me it does
So for me indeed
If not for no reason else
Still that tongue
And keep your comments
To your own damn self
Aye good Tougan
You know me you do
All you need but do is ask
And that's just what
I'll do for you
Then do it without
The tone of an ass
For though we knew him not
His dying here
Is not because
He was evil or bad
But just did wrong
To the powers that be
Charles Petrie
He's dead he is
So what matters it
If I cut him deep
Or hang my head
In sadness for
His awful passing
It matters to me it does
So for me indeed
If not for no reason else

And keep your comments
To your own damn self

Paikin's Song
Oh The Buggar Poor
Oh The Buggar Poor
Said Sopadin
Holding his nose
And looking away
From the mess of what
Had properly been
Sahla as Alex of Earth
Aye they'd gathered together
Tougan in charge
And Sopadin his second
To follow with others
In search of Sahla
Which is where they were
When some flippantly
Sopadin spoke
Of the newest unfortunate
To there be with
Enough of that
Good Sopadin good
He deserves him not
Your cutting wit
And should be mourned
As gone he most surely is
Charles Petrie
Oh The Buggar Poor
Said Sopadin
Holding his nose
And looking away
From the mess of what
Had properly been

Aye they'd gathered together

Paikin's Song
And So It Came To Be
And so it came to be
That Sahla he was
Yes but changed him so
By the venom coursing through
And the biters and burrowers too
Into something someone else
Than he would have been
If he'd but felt
The doings of The Chamber
That Second To The Left
As had been the plan
Yes an awful change indeed
Such so painful
You'd not wish it on
Your own worst foe
Thus he fell him down
And soon was underneathed
A living mass
Of the horrible and the small
Such awful little things
We'd scream to see
Even safely away
So imagine how it felt
To have them crawling through
And changing what had been
Into something new
At least until
His conscious mind
Was then shutdown
And his pain so ended
Whilst still the changes
Were slowly underway
Charles Petrie
And so it came to be
That Sahla he was
Yes but changed him so
By the venom coursing through
And the biters and burrowers too

Paikin's Song
Thus They Crawled
Thus they crawled they did
All over him
Biting and burrowing
And causing him pain
He'd not so felt
Not ever before
And he he leapt to his feet
Screaming oh so loud
His screams they echoed
And echoed back
Again and again
But still they burrowed more
And repeatedly bit
He knew not how
He'd bear this out
At least as much
As his sickened mind
Could process then
God no no
This is such pain
How can it be so bad
Aye it was that indeed
As he fell to his knees
And screamed a yell
Most curdling of the blood
And the others there
In the dark dark place
They heard him scream
And shivered in sympathy
Thinking that
What a poor buggar he was
And that he'd soon be dead
Charles Petrie
Thus they crawled they did
All over him

Paikin's Song
Huff And Huff Indeed
Huff and huff indeed
As Sahla raced him hard
Sick in his thinking
That there many were
A chasing him
No no not
You'll not catch me
I won't let not any of you
But stop me
So easily
Though here but hell
This where I be
Is hard to return me from
I can't say quit
Or that is it
But running in the dark
Is no good thing
And weak and sick he was
He couldn't but help
And fall him hard
Upon the ground
And lie but still
Yes helpless he was indeed
For the many small things
That shared this Hell
With the most unlucky
To here so be
And this bad time
No one else
Was here to lift him up
Charles Petrie
Huff and huff indeed
As Sahla raced him hard
Sick in his thinking
That there many were
A chasing him

Paikin's Song
And Tougan Made To Take Him
And Tougan made to take him
To where he'd better be
But Sahla in his sick
But broke away
And raced him quick away
No you fool
Don't go from me
For that surely is
The way to death
So Sahla raced away
And Tougan who would have saved him
Could only stand
His arms outstretched
For but moments
Before he could
Naught but hang his head
Oh had he not been alone
And had him the company
Of one of the others
They'd have chased them after
But he'd come alone
And wasn't sick or foolish
To try and follow him
Into Death's cold mouth
Charles Petrie
And Tougan made to take him

Paikin's Song
No Not Today
No not today
You vile things
You'll not have
Your wished for food
Of living flesh
And Tougan stamped his foot
Then lit a fire small
Which he dropped him down
To scare them off
Come with me
Oh unlucky soul
And we'll see to the bite
Before too late it is
What but who is you
Just let me rest
For I feel so sick
And but wish the pain
To go away
Don't you worry
We'll take the sick away
And then we'll see
To getting you used
To this damn hell
Charles Petrie
No not today
You vile things
You'll not have
Your wished for food

Paikin's Song
So He But Bit
So he but bit
Sahla himself
The would be hero
Stricken suddenly
As the snakelike thing
Had venom fast
To sicken such
Like the aforementioned
And dizzily he stood
Quickly losing
His right good thinking
And coming to feel
Oh so sick
And close to the dying
With pain about
The whole of his body
Oh God
What be this
The end of all
Or but a fork
Sharply poking me
On a road of misery
I wish I knew
Like when it would end
Either the pain
Or my everything
For then I could focus
On that clear time
And not just be
By this beset
But no answer came
And he only felt him worse
As he but fell him hard
Upon the ground
Both cold and dirty
And crawling more
With lots of bugs
So eager to taste
His sickened flesh
Charles Petrie
So he but bit
Sahla himself
The would be hero

Paikin's Song
And Fangs They Bit
And fangs they bit
So reached upon
His soft soft flesh
And released
A painful poison
That made him scream
In sheer agony
Thus its poison so released
The snake it let him be
And slithered away
Back into
The darkness cold
Where it belonged
Alas poor Sahla
He clutched the bite
Scratching and clawing it
In some vain hope
One might suppose
To release the venom
That coursed fast
And through his body
A foolish hope of course
For that wasn't how
The snakething's bite
With it's poisonous seizing
Was but dealt with
Though truthfully
How was he to know
When even those
Who'd ever lived
On the world home
And not left as him
Knew them not
Of the snakelike things
That called the dark
Their own domain
Nay not so
'Twas only those
So sentenced to
The dark dark place
Who knew the thus
And those were those
Yes unfortunate souls
Who never not left
Once there they were

Paikin's Song
But Cold Alone
But cold alone
Was not his only woe
As the dark dark place
Knew of lesser life
That first had called it home
Before they came
The poor prisoners
And hissed a one of them
A snakelike thing
At poor Sahla down
As it slowly slithered near
From out the darkness cold
Away away with you
You damn like snake
I'm no threat to you
And this you know
So find to you
Your normal prey
I am certain sure
They are about
The snake it thought
Like otherwise
And slithered closer so
With a flickering tongue
Both long and forked sharp
As if to cut it could
The flesh of a larger
Like Sahla himself
Thus spooked he was
And rose him quick
Which set off the snake
Who likewise struck him fast
Charles Petrie
But cold alone
Was not his only woe
As the dark dark place
Knew of lesser life
That first had called it home

Paikin's Song
Cold So Cold
Cold so cold it is
How can anyone
But survive this here
When such cold is not
What we are meant to know
And poor Sahla sat
His teeth oh loudly chattering
As he shivered alone
And thought for a moment
Of what he'd left behind
Yes lovely Lisa
What was she doing
And who if any
Was she doing it with
And tears they came
Dripping to the floor
As a wave of sadness
Rippled through his soul
Leaving him lower than
Ever he had ever thought
That he could be
Charles Petrie
Cold so cold it is
How can anyone
But survive this here
When such cold is not

Paikin's Song
And He Awoke
And he awoke
In the dark dark place
Feeling dirty and dusty
Wishing oh so much
That he was where
He'd so long been
But he answered the call
As had been the plan
So many years before
Though it wasn't supposed to be
Such like this
Where he was beaten
Before he had the chance
To gain into
The Second Chamber To The Left
So what had gone wrong
He really didn't want to know
But a burning need there was
Oh flickering in his head
And he knew himself
That yes he needed
Oh needed to know as what
Had turned it so bad
Only he was not
Where he needed to be
To make that real
Which meant long it would
So gnaw at him
That the time ahead
Could only be worse
Than Thote so hoped
Charles Petrie
And he awoke
In the dark dark place
Feeling dirty and dusty
Wishing oh so much
That he was where
He'd so long been
But he answered the call
As had been the plan
So many years before
Though it wasn't supposed to be
Such like this
Where he was beaten
Before he had the chance
To gain into
The Second Chamber To The Left
So what had gone wrong
He really didn't want to know
But a burning need there was
Oh flickering in his head
And he knew himself
That yes he needed
Oh needed to know as what
Had turned it so bad
Only he was not
Where he needed to be
To make that real
Which meant long it would
So gnaw at him
That the time ahead
Could only be worse
Than Thote so hoped

Paikin's Song
Well Enough Of You
Well enough of you I've had
You're married to your folly
And there is no other point
In speaking to you
Thus with that
He drew from his waist
His hidden weapon
And unleashed its energies
On Sahla unsuspecting such
So down in a heap he went
Most painlessly alas
For Thote's own liking
But he smiled still
At the cheery thought
That he'd have his years
To face much more
Than he seemed him able
To well cope with
Take him now
The dark dark place
Awaits him so
For however long
He will survive
I will smile at his agony
So I did well
And was worthy of your belief in me
Oh yes you did
You were perfect in your deed
And will be rewarded well
My dear Kaeina dear

Paikin's Song
Such False Hope
Such false hope
I can well do without
So keep it keep it
To yourself
You would spit in my face
And turn aside
The offer I gave
Who are you
To be such a fool
A fool I guess
By your reckoning
So do as you will
And I will do the same
Do as I will you say
Oh what a fool you are
When you're anything but
The kind to strongly take
What you're about to face
So it would appear
Which makes it doubly worse
For your own side
Seeing as you're so damn worried
About a harmless man like me
Charles Petrie
Such false hope
I can well do without
So keep it keep it
To yourself
You would spit in my face
And turn aside
The offer I gave
Who are you
To be such a fool
A fool I guess

So do as you will
And I will do the same
Do as I will you say
Oh what a fool you are
When you're anything but
The kind to strongly take
What you're about to face
So it would appear
Which makes it doubly worse
For your own side
Seeing as you're so damn worried

Paikin's Song
So Afraid You Are
So afraid you are
Though why I cannot see
When clearly you have it
As you so wish
So foolish is my reply
As you almost dare
A fatal response
With your impudent tongue
I should but rip from you
As a first real punishment
But as I know my place
A lesson you need but learn
if you wish to have of you
Any semblance of life
I'll not deny to him
The pleasure of that
No you wouldn't you can't
That's too cruel a thing
When look at me
Who am I to be
Any threat at all
Yes fear holds such sway
You didn't even hear
The hope I offered
To you just now
Charles Petrie
So afraid you are
Though why I cannot see
When clearly you have it
As you so wish
So foolish is my reply
As you almost dare
A fatal response
With your impudent tongue
I should but rip from you
As a first real punishment
But as I know my place
A lesson you need but learn
if you wish to have of you
Any semblance of life
I'll not deny to him
