Paikin's Song

Then Go Be Happy

Then go be happy
Wherever you intend to go
For clearly you can't be that
With my myself
And what kind of lover would I be
If I some someway
I could keep you here
When here you wanted not to stay

I know you're shocked surprised
So not angry am I that
You're not listening to me
For here I would stay indeed
If still I had the choice

That'd be funny if
It held a sliver of the truth
But who are you
And what have you done
To be so swept you up
In some such like
That would take you somewhere else

Damn I'd tell you if I could
This what of mine
As to leave with the hope
However faint unlikely
To come on back to you
Would ease my mind

But I can't I can't
And understand
Even if you dared believe
It would be so unfair
To ask you chere
So I'll simply leave you now

But not before a hug and kiss
Let us close with this
A taste of good
To see me through the bad
That's about to come

And she softened for a second
So he closed in
Only to be rebuffed
As she slapped him hard across the face

Charles Petrie

The voice called me quieter on part five here, the first part written since I brought Paikin's Song over from Yahoo 360, hopefully not a sign of a dreaded story progressing slowdown.

Time will tell though.
